Get Your SQL Expert Certification during beta testing

Oracle has recently launched Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert certification as part of the Oracle Expert series of certifications.

Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert certification is expected to testify superior SQL programming skills with mastery of the key concepts of RDBMS. Knowledge of advanced features of SQL including querying and manipulating data, controlling privileges at the object and system level and using advanced querying and reporting techniques are the key testing criteria.

Many of our blog readers are from the functional domain and are subject matter experts on specific Oracle E-Business Suite modules. Even for a functional expert, knowledge of SQL is key to move up the 'value chain' and to provide all-round skills offering to implementation and support teams. For our blog readers from the technical domain, the SQL certification would indeed be a confirmation of the skill set used practically on a daily basis.

Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert exam is now being offered in beta testing mode at a 75% discount. The beta exam would be having approximately 180-200 questions and the test duration would be around 3-3.5 hours.

The exam content for Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert exam (1Z1-047) is based on Oracle Database 10g: Introduction to SQL course from Oracle University (a 5 day course). Take up the challenge and get certified before September 15, 2007 !
Update: The beta exam test window has been extended to October 15, 2007.
Now, one has over a month to prepare for the exam!
