A Room With A View

Oracle Certification Program has launched a certification management portal for candidates called CertView. One can log in to CertView using their Oracle Single Sign-On (SSO) password. The username and password that is valid on all Oracle sites.
To log in for the first time, Oracle Prometric ID was required for authentication (to retrieve candidate history information I suppose).

The Home tab of CertView has links to the new certification exam provider, PearsonVUE and links to News and Annoucements. The Personal Information tab is where the name and address is stored. The Certification Status tab is indeed the most interesting with several innovative features.

The Certification History sub tab lists all the certification the candidate has achieved with the certification date achieved as well as links to download the certification logo in BMP, GIF or EPS format. The logo can be used on business cards, resume and other communication material which adheres to

The Exam History sub tab lists the certification exams taken, date of the exam and grade indicator (Pass / Fail).

The Success Kit sub tab lists the date when the success kit was shipped. Oracle Certification Success Kit data is generated twice a week. After a candidate completes the final certification requirement, it may take 7 - 10 days to produce the shipment record.

The Publish Credential to Third Parties sub tab is a very popular request to the OCP team especially for candidates who want the certification information sent to their present or prospective employers. Select the certification credential that you would like to publish. Enter the email address for the recipient of the report. Click preview to preview the report. Click publish to publish the report. For multiple recipients, enter comma separated email address and a maximum of 10 e-mail addresses at a time. Once the information is published, the Published Credentials tab lists the date range and to whom the credentials are published.

  1. Cool stuff, Mohan! Thanks for sharing it.
pity though that the R12 DBA OCP logo is a bit crummy (and that is an understatement... it is completely unreadable...).

Please complete the survey and provide your feedback on the OCP logo.
The logos looks crummy on the webpage.
Did you download a logo? I downloaded .bmp and .jpg version but the files did not open! Have sent feedback on both to OCP team
