OCP Advisor to present at Oracle OpenWorld 2010

It gives me great pleasure to announce that your blog author, a.k.a. OCP Advisor has been invited to present at Oracle Openworld 2010, the world's largest Oracle conference hosted by Oracle Corporation. OCP Advisor will be presenting three sessions during the conference scheduled from September 19-23, 2010 at San Francisco, California.


The first session is entitled: "Ten Steps to Success: Your Oracle Certification Advisor".
The session abstract is as follows:
The Oracle Certification program offers Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle Certified Expert (OCE), Oracle Certified Specialist (OCS), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), and Oracle Certified Master (OCM) certifications. This session presents a 10-step program, including exam preparation tips, test taking experiences, and advice on how to achieve your Oracle certification credentials. It shares experiences of the who's-who in the Oracle world holding Oracle certification for various tracks. Oracle users and consultants at all levels of experience and expertise looking at certification to further boost their career will benefit greatly from this firsthand-knowledge-sharing session.

The second session is entitled: "Top 10 Recipes from Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 Financials Cookbook".
The session abstract is as follows:
This how-to session showcases the 10 most popular "recipes" from the presenter's forthcoming book entitled "Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 Financials Cookbook." Oracle E-Business Suite 12 has introduced hundreds of new features for a truly global financial application platform. The session discusses 10 features that should be on every implementation checklist for Oracle E-Business Suite 12 rollout. It provides practical tips, tricks, and advice for implementing the new features. The 10 recipes include such tasty delights as "Mashup with MOAC (Multiple Organization Access Control)," "Appetizers with ASM (Accounting Setup Manager)," "Relishing Report Manager," and "Barbeque with Buyer Work Center."


The third session is the OAUG General Ledger Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting to be held on SIG Sunday, September 19, 2010. As the Chairperson of the SIG, the blog author will present an update of the group activities and plans for 2011. Oracle Development and Strategy Team are expected to showcase the latest release of the applications and discuss Oracle Financials roadmap.
